Terms and Conditions

Thank you for visiting the World-Tech website (the “Site”) of World-Tech Distribution (HK) Limited (“WORLD-TECH” or “We”). Access to and use of the Site and related services (collectively, the “Services”) are made available to you in accordance with the following Terms of Use & Service and any other rules posted on the Site (collectively, the “Terms and Conditions” or “T&C”). By using the Services, such as placing orders on the Site, you are agreeing to all of the Terms and Conditions.
This agreement does not acknowledge any relationship between you and WORLD-TECH (partnership, collaboration, employment, or otherwise). It does not entitle you to hold yourself as a representative of WORLD-TECH.
WORLD-TECH reserves the right to make changes to the Site, related policies and agreements, the Privacy Policy and this T&C at any time. You are advised to check the Site from time to time to check the update or changes to the said policies and agreements, the Privacy Policy and the T&C.

2. Your Account
You may view and use many features of the Site without registering, but in order to access and use some parts of the Site (including making purchases), you may need to register an account with us. If you choose to register at the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, username and password and for restricting access to your computer. If there has been an unauthorized use of your password or account, please notify us immediately. You are responsible for providing and maintaining current, complete, accurate and truthful information on your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, username and/or password. We reserve the right to refuse service and/or terminate accounts without prior notice if these Terms and Conditions are violated or if we decide, in our sole discretion, that it would be in our best interest to do so.
3. Prohibitions and Failure to Comply
We may take actions against your account for activities including, but not limited to:
a) Using any technology to attempt to hide the use of multiple accounts or disrupt any of our Services in any way
b) Initiating communications that contain any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material
c) Advertising or sending unsolicited messages of any kind
d) Impersonating others or providing any kind of false information
WORLD-TECH reserves the right to terminate any account at its sole discretion we may send you an email to inform you of the termination of your account in such event.
4. Intellectual property
All Content (which is defined as, or includes, any text, audio or music, video, graphics, photographs, and image) are the intellectual property of WORLD-TECH and are protected by intellectual property and copyright laws and international treaty provisions. The Site is for your personal and non-commercial use only. Any non-personal and/or commercial use of the Content is only permitted when expressly authorized by WORLD-TECH and/or its third party licensors. You may not distribute, reproduce, publish, sell or license any Content contained within the Site without prior consent or authorization of WORLD-TECH. Any such unauthorized actions may result in civil consequences or criminal penalties.
5. Accuracy of Information
We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing our products and providing information on the Site; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colors, information or other content available on the Site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
This Site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions (including after an order has been submitted) and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to pricing and availability, and we reserve the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order placed based on incorrect pricing or availability information. We apologize for any inconvenience.
6. Pricing
Prices are shown on the Site in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Prices displayed on the Site at the time your order is accepted will be honored except in the case of obvious error. Whilst we use our best endeavors to ensure that all prices appearing on the Site are accurate, we do not guarantee that they are error-free and reserve our right to rectify any errors. If we discover an error in the price of any products that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming or cancelling your order. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled.
If your credit/debit card is not denominated in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD), the final price charged in your currency will be calculated by your issuing bank in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.
7. Payment
We accept payments made by Visa, MasterCard and PayPal, as well as payments in cash on delivery.
By placing an order using one of the above Credit/Debit card and online payment methods, you confirm that the Credit/Debit card(s) or PayPal account used is yours or that you have been authorized by the owner to use it. If your card issuer refuses to authorize payment to WORLD-TECH, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Our payment processes meet the stringent international security standards set down by the Payment Card Industry to make your shopping experience safe and secure. If you have registered an account on the Site and have decided to save your card details with us, your details will be fully encrypted, solely used to process card transactions that you have initiated and securely stored on our systems. In the absence of negligence on our part, we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if any third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when using our Services.
8. Shipping and Collections
Orders will be sent, via the Carrier, to the delivery address that you have given or selected, as the case may be, on your order form. We will not be responsible if that delivery address is incorrect or incomplete.
When you have selected your preferred delivery method (provided that your order has been accepted by WORLD-TECH), your order shall be processed and we will endeavor to dispatch your order in accordance with the estimated delivery times set out at “Shipping Methods & Timeline” , whichever is applicable, or as otherwise specified upon completion of order. Please note that the delivery dates specified in your order, the email confirming the order or on the “Shipping Methods & Timeline” are estimates only. We will try their best to meet these estimates but cannot guarantee that such estimates must be met.
9. Third Party Links
We are not responsible for the content of any off-website pages or any other websites linked to or from the Site including Third Party Sites. Links appearing on the Site are for convenience only and are not an endorsement by us of the referenced content, product, service, or supplier. You use and access of these off-website pages or any other websites including Third Party Sites is at your own risk. We are in no way responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant the offerings of off-website pages or any other websites linked to or from the Site (including Third Party Sites), nor do we assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, content, products, or services of such websites, including without limitation, their privacy policies and Terms and Conditions. You should carefully review the privacy policies and Terms and Conditions of all off-website pages and other websites (including Third Party Sites) that you visit.
10. Indemnity and Waiver
At our request, you agree to compensate us fully and hold us, WORLD-TECH (including its officers, directors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and suppliers), harmless from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees, arising from any breach of the T&C by you. This includes the use of the Site by any other persons using your account caused by your action or inaction.
If you breach the T&C and we take no action against you, it is no wavier for us to exercise our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach the T&C.
11. Jurisdiction
These Terms and all transactions relating to the Site are governed by Hong Kong law and both we and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
12. Severability
If any provision in these Terms is held invalid, the remainder of these Terms shall continue to be enforceable. If any provision in these Terms is held unlawful, void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be severable from these Terms and the remaining provisions are still valid and enforceable.
13. Amendment
We reserve the absolute right to modify the Terms and Conditions, the description of products and scope of services and other features, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from such modification.
After the Terms herein are revised, your continued use of this website shall constitute your acknowledgement and acceptance of such amendments.
Should there be any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
